Each flag on this page represents only a small part of the countries of the world. In some the gospel is being preached but there is still a lot of work to be done. Test your knowledge and see how many of the countries you know. Just place your mouse over the flag to see what country it is.
Our Missions: The Carthage congregation of the Church of Christ is a extremely mission minded congregation.. We take the "Great Commission" very seriously. "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28: 18-20 The Carthage congregation has supported missionaries and mission efforts on most of the continents of the world. Missionaries we currently support are Wayne Pruett, Jack Honeycutt (India), Jerry Davidson, Charles White (Georgia Missions), J.C. Choate, Dale Flowers, Michael Jacobs, Les Hinkle, James Watkins and Narine Khublall. In addition, the Carthage Congregation supports the East Tennessee School of Preaching, Memphis School of Preaching, Inner City Ministry and Taylor Christian Camp. Also a weekly radio program "Sword of The Spirit" has been sponsored by the congregation for a number of years. In 2000 the Carthage congregation started sending its members on mission works around the world. This has been a great work with 19 baptisms reported in 2005. In January 2006 the congregation was part of a work in Toluca Mexico with a full time missionary from Carthage living there for 9 months. We hope to also start a Spanish outreach program in the years to come. As you see, the desire of the Carthage Church of Christ is to "seek and save the lost and to go and make disciples of all nations." We hope that we will be able to carry out the Lords commands in the individual lives of our members, recognizing that it is a mandate that includes both local and foreign missions.
